Who Qualifies

Black children ages 5 to 13

Before the Appointment

Hair must be freshly washed and fully detangled before the stylist arrives. This ensures the best results and a smooth, enjoyable session for your child.

A Note on Tender-Headed Children

Our sessions work best for children who are comfortable and willing to have their hair styled. If your child is extremely tender-headed or resistant to hair services, please do not book at this time. We only offer services to children who are ready and willing, so every session stays positive and affirming.

Natural Hair Only

The Curl Project, Inc. works exclusively with natural hair. We do not use extensions of any kind. Our mission is to build genuine confidence in the hair your child was born with.
